Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. Initiative
The “Ending The HIV Epidemic” (EHE) Initiative is a federal effort to reduce new HIV infections in the United States by 75% in five years and by 90% in ten years. The initiative targets those who are newly diagnosed with HIV or those not engaged in care and/or not virally suppressed. EHE provides assistance for emergency housing/rental assistance, medical and prescription co-pays, and transportation to/from medical visits.
The EHE initiative is also working to address racial, ethnic, and geographic disparities that have contributed to HIV prevention gaps through community engagement.
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for the program you must be HIV positive and out of care and/or not virally suppressed or newly diagnosed with HIV.
