Join Sharmain Mayes Winston at her poster exhibit, along with posters made by other women with HIV, as she shares what living with HIV has been like and how it has impacted her life. “No matter the obstacle, anything is possible,” Sharmain says. “Having HIV has been a hurdle but with faith and my family I have been able to overcome whatever has come my way!”

This event takes place on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library; Meeting Room C. All are welcome!

Community Resource & Family Fun Day Out event sponsored by The Works.  The event will be tomorrow, Saturday May 4, 2024, between 11:00am – 2:00pm.  There will be Food, Game Trucks, Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Family Fitness, Music and More.  Ryan White/H-CAP as well as Hope House will be in attendance passing out free take home HIV test kits. 

About the 2024 National Ryan White Conference

HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) is committed to enriching the experience of the community. Therefore, we are excited to announce the 2024 NRWC will use a hybrid model, which will allow HRSA HAB to incorporate both in-person attendance and virtual participation opportunities, providing conference participants flexibility in how they choose to attend.

The virtual component of the NRWC will utilize the Chime online platform, which was used for the 2020 and 2022 conferences. All RWHAP recipients, providers, subrecipients, federal, national, state, and local organizations supporting the HIV community, and people with HIV are encouraged to participate in the 2024 NRWC.

On behalf of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau, we look forward to participating in the 2024 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment on August 20-23, 2024.  The theme for this year’s National Conference is “Innovating to End the HIV Epidemic: Empowering Communities, Expanding Partnerships, Implementing Interventions.”
